Sally S. Chan, Esq.

Ms. Chan has served as lead counsel in numerous trials, including jury and bench trials, in California and Federal Courts.

Ms. Chan as advised, litigated, and counseled in cases involving music and film entertainment contracts involving A-list entertainers, Franchise violations, franchise territorial disputes, franchise formation, large commercial property acquisitions of hotels of over 70 million in value, multi-use mega centers, and multi-residential developments.
Ms. Chan currently serves as advising counsel and lead trial counsel for large commercial property management firms in the Los Angeles Area. Ms. Chan is also lead trial counsel for various commercial property litigations pending in California superior courts.
In civil court, Ms. Chan has positively and effectively represented business, shareholders, and officers in fields including, technology, professional, merchandising, logistical, manufacturing, consulting, and pharmaceuticals in disputes regarding breach of contract, fraud, breach of fiduciary duty, statutory violations, employment violations, and other related disputes.
Ms. Chan has also practiced in federal court for civil litigation matters, white collar criminal, and bankruptcy adversarial actions representing both commercial and consumer clients. Ms. Chan serves as counsel for distressed businesses in bankruptcy Chapter 11 with gross value and assets of over fifty million $50,000,000.
Ms. Chan utilizes her civil trial, bankruptcy, and corporate transactional experience to advise businesses, corporations, entertainers, entrepreneurs, and high net worth individuals in business matters to position themselves strategically to prevent and/or maintain strategic advantage in the event of anticipated or frivolous lawsuits from third parties, clients, or partners. Additionally, Ms. Chan has also utilized her trial, litigation, probate, and bankruptcy experience to advise and counsel many small to large international businesses and consumers in transactional matters. In San Francisco, Ms. Chan gained extensive courtroom and trial experience when she joined the San Francisco’s public defender’s office through the Criminal Justice Clinic.
